Hey Catwa You don’t own SL UV and so you know you’re heads suck compared to the new ones. You’re ridiculous tongue sticking out animations are so played out. Why don’t you take your time to actually make a good product instead of the same fish lip heads? You are not creative and you’re just mad are you planning on sending your lawyers after genus too? Because guess what thats the real new head you should worry about because its soooooo pretty…Personally I think youre played out.
I love catwa and i will always support her !! No matter what . She has ulti high quality heads , anims etc and she’s a topper . She deserves it !! 💖💗
Jasim is half-right, IMO. No one has the right to piggyback off of Catwa’s brand, using their name or logo without permission in advertising materials to promote their own competing business interest and yep, it’s dmca-worthy.
(But throwing a public shit-fit is never professional, Jasim, even if you apologize! SL people have loooong memories.)
But secondly, everyone DOES have the right to adapt their own original product to be more compatible with things made for another creator’s product. Using the text something like
‘Our product has been updated to be more compatible with skins made for other brands of mesh heads, giving you more options than ever! Please try our updated demo head with your current favorite skin appliers to see if it suits you’
would have been better and non-infringing language. Posting a news announcement on their blog, sending a group notice and using a general notecard with text that their product is ‘now more compatible with skins made for Catwa’ is >probably< not mis-using the Catwa name?
That may be a gray area…
There is a big group of people who are NOT fans of Catwa heads all for various aesthetic reasons, and even more who are not fans of the expense (and the fact that Catwa never has a promo or a sale), not fans of the animations (or that expense either) and many of these people really have wished that the skins and other appliers made for Catwa heads would fit another brand of head better, it’s a viable market. Those people will benefit greatly from increased compatibility and they were not going to buy a Catwa head anyway. And I doubt that many Catwa fans are going to jump off the Catwa bus to another head brand any time soon since Catwa has quite a distinctive look even from head to head and people who wear them are used to making their shapes for them, using the the sliders, etc. some people brag even about their Catwa head collections and somehow still always buy a new one.
As an owner of hm…5+ brands of mesh heads myself (purchased, not given as review copies), and only 1 Catwa head…I often wish several of my skins and makeups fit more than one brand of head a little better.
All 3 are based off SL’s uv map so obviously there will be similarities.It’s pretty trashy of Jasim to be so greedy and insecure to attempt this. Put out a great product & it sells itself.

Maybe when Genus head comes out things will be better. I just hope they don’t make it pricey as hell like Catwa does their heads.
