  1. If this is indeed true then isn’t there an issue with the fact that he’s using alphas from an already copyrighted game (The Sims)? I’m fairly certain once you are contracted as a designer for industry games what you design for them becomes their intellectual property.

    1. Stealthic is a MODDER for the Sims which is way different from being an actual game developer of Sims Studio (developer company of The Sims). It’s kind of similar to SL designers creating content for SL HOWEVER all the content created by these Sims modders are given out for free to download from websites like thesimresource with the intention of only customizing your sims character and not for profitable redistribution as per ToS on these websites unless stated otherwise by the modder. But Stealthic has made it clear on the sims resource site that his hairs and textures CANNOT be modified and/or redistributed for profit especially on other games which Little Bones violated. I still do not understand why some of these illiterate and uninformed people are still supporting Little Bones even though this is theft, clear as day. And I believe the owner of Stealthic is being absolutely professional about this entire situation unlike other designers in the past who have blasted other thieving designers via threats, non-stop Facebook posts , and constant shaming. Yes Stealthic made a Facebook post but he mentions that it will be his first and last post regarding about this situation as a lot of people were confused and asking questions especially why Little Bones will have to take down some of their products (as per Stealthic’s request) and why LB will not be participating in some upcoming events. Totally sucks that this whole mess made me delete a RL paycheck’s worth of hair from this store as I don’t want to be shamed by others for wearing “stolen” hair and obviously it just feels wrong wearing them.

  2. I am not saying that what Little Bones did was right, but the Stealthic guy clearly wants the publicity that all this drama will bring for him and his store. That is why (in my opinion ) he started it all.

  3. How about anyone who thinks that someone else is stealing to keep it to themselves and not automatically wash their dirty laundry in public. You don’t see people doing this in real life do you? Lawyers handle it in RL and while we don’t have lawyers in SL, there are still ways to report theft in SL without trying to get the public to become allies to fight your fight. Since when has it been a mission in SL for creators to want to destroy other designers? Literally. In SL you are proven guilty before you’re proven innocent and The Whisperer is the judge and jury apparently.

    1. Actually, it is going on in real life. it’s called the ” me too ” movement. A lot of dirty laundry being exposed. However that has nothing to do with the topic at hand but still explains the whole dirty laundry being put out there. The whisperer is only doing the same thing other drama bloggers are doing. Spreading the news.

  5. ugh, this really sucks. After being a ‘victim’ themselves, you’d think Little Bones would make sure not to do the same thing to other designers. Makes you wonder how true it is that they were also stolen from.
