She may be able to mesh but for me the damage is done and she lost a customer. I’m not going to buy from CP anymore but mine’s just a quiet boycott. I’m guessing I’m not alone in this feeling by far. I’m hoping someone who has more influence beyond the secrets/gossip blogs will just do a story on it. I’m also pretty sure CP is not the only ‘successful’ brand doing this so I’m hoping others who do it will get exposed now too. As for the accusations on other brands so far, any brand can show their wireframing to prove their meshes (though similar looking) are actually differently constructed from something purchased on a 3D model site.
The bottom line: It’s not a ‘mistake’ when it’s been ongoing and you only ‘fess up and are forced to stop because you are caught and exposed.
