  1. McKindred Estates. McK (the owner) is a very nice lady and we (some friends and I) have rented from her for over a year, and in my friend’s case several years. Your rent will not go poof because she is honest and has owned residential sims for a long time. I think she’s the best landlord I’ve ever rented from and I have rented for years also from Zoha Islands. They’re a lot pricier for what you get and McK has the same or better for less money. I highly recommend her land for inexpensive rentals. You can rent anything from a furnished skybox to big chunks of land. She also responds to messages and has managers available in the resident group to deal with any problems you may have.

  2. Drop a little coin for something established and from someone a little more trustworthy who owns the sim instead of subletting and you shouldn’t have a problem. Simple. The cure for so many SL woes is really just ‘don’t be so cheap-ass cheap’.

  3. Renting in Second life is no different than real life. The only SLIGHT difference is in real life you can take fuckers to court. So buyers beware.
